Here's another game we've started to play. I've been trying to get into the closed alpha/beta, but wasn't able to. Now we don't have to worry about this as the Global Launch happened August 28, 2025.
Destiny Rising — Bringing Destiny to Mobile
Destiny: Rising is NetEase Games’ ambitious take on the legendary Destiny franchise, reimagined for mobile players. Set in an alternate timeline during humanity’s Dark Age, this sci-fi RPG casts you as a Lightbearer—a powerful hero defending Earth against overwhelming threats.
A True Mobile Adaptation
The game stays true to Destiny’s looter-shooter roots while adapting the experience for portable play. Players can look forward to rewarding loot hunts, deep gear customization, and tactical loadout optimization—all designed for smooth mobile gameplay.
Lightbearers Instead of Guardians
Unlike the mainline series, which focuses on a single Guardian, Destiny: Rising introduces a roster of Lightbearers. Each hero has unique skills and combat roles, allowing players to switch between characters and tailor strategies for different challenges. You can't customize your Lightbearers like you could in Destiny 2.
